Richard Brickley (Associate)

Richard studied law at the University of Wales, College of Cardiff and qualified as a solicitor in 1997.

Originally from South Wales, he began his career as an Assistant Solicitor in Caerphilly specialising in both civil and criminal litigation before moving on to one of the largest firms in Newport, where he later became a Partner and Head of the Civil Department in 2001.

Richard joined AES Winterbothams LLP in October 2007 and heads both Personal Injury/Industrial Disease and Employment Law departments. In 2009 he was awarded Senior Litigator Status by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.

Richard is currently Chairman of Stroud District Business Club.

In his spare time, Richard enjoys landscape photography and has regularly exhibited his work in his home city of Bath, Somerset and Wiltshire. He also plays acoustic guitar and is a keen tennis player.
